My research discovered that there are already a number of limitation of liability tariffs out there that prevent the average consumer from getting any other damages in these types of "negligence" cases, other than a refund for the costs of the service.
Ridiculous, if you ask me... and this client of mine ended up with a very paltry settlement as a result.
In this case, the Supreme Court is just keeping with business as usual for the phone companies.
